Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search tool is sent directly to the third-party company that operates that tool. The provider processes the input and supplies its results. Warren County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email us, the message may be retained so a response can be provided. It is kept within our organization and is not disclosed outside it unless the law requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may automatically receive technical information connected with the visit:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address
- The browser and browser version in use
- Your device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- The referring website, when available
- The date and time associated with each view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a device. We use them, together with analytics providers, to understand aggregate traffic, including which pages receive visits and where visitors leave. A browser can be configured to block cookies. Turning them off may change how some site features work.
What We Do With This Data
Information collected through the website may be used for these operating purposes:
- Maintaining the website, its availability, and page speed
- Routing search submissions to the appropriate outside service
- Understanding which material visitors use and where revisions may help
- Diagnosing errors, abuse, and other technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Warren County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of docket records or personal case information. It publishes general directions for locating Warren County records through Cassidy L. Cantrell, the Circuit Court Clerk, other responsible courts and clerks, the county-linked search, and Tennessee court resources. This private website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or records about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes shown on the website. Information placed in those tools is handled under the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices. Review the applicable policy before submitting a query because we do not control those practices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Warren County government, the Circuit Court Clerk, trial-court resources, Tennessee appellate services, legal assistance organizations, advertisers, or outside search tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before supplying personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select targeted advertisements. We do not operate that cross-site tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be received by:
- Outside search providers that process a query you submit
- Analytics vendors that measure traffic and site performance
- Advertising networks that deliver advertisements on these pages
- Government bodies or law enforcement when disclosure is compelled by a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, generally accepted security measures are used to protect collected information. No service connected to the internet can guarantee perfect security. Although safeguards are maintained, we cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor supplied personal data, we will delete it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Rights concerning personal information vary with the law that applies to you. You may ask for a copy of information maintained about you, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing where applicable. The Tennessee Public Records Act, Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503, and Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 govern access issues involving Tennessee public and court records held by government custodians; they do not convert this privately operated website into a government records office or define its private-site data practices.
- Request access to personal information held about you
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Request deletion where the applicable law allows it
- Opt out of eligible forms of processing
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised from time to time. A revised version will be posted here and will display a new effective date. Review this page periodically if you want to follow changes in these practices.
